Jacob and Alaney Miltner

These two are the second generation of Miltners on the Pine. Jacob grew up in the business from a very young age, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping sidewalks, and making friends with the kids that would come to camp for the week. Every year his responsibilities in the business grew, the largest of which was to find a girl that could love the business and river the way he did. Alaney came onto the scene as an office girl in 2012. In May 2016, Alaney graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hillsdale College with a Bachelors degree, majoring in Politics. In June 2016, Jacob and Alaney got married on the bank of the Pine River. Since then, they have decided they would also like to raise their family at the Pine River Paddlesports Center. They have started taking steps to take the business over from Jacob's dad, Mark.  Jacob and Alaney love the river, love their customers, and love being able to spend every day together at work. When they can steal time away in the summer, they are usually spotted out on the river by customers that they had put out earlier in the morning, or on occasion taking hikes up in Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes with Hoxey, a fellow coworker and their best friend.
