The Pine is simply the best paddlesports river in lower Michigan. It is in both the Michigan Natural Rivers Program and the United States Wild & Scenic Rivers System. With several access sites, you can plan a trip most any length you desire. If you are looking for more than just a day trip, the numerous campgrounds along and near the Pine make it a great stream for a two or three day canoe trip.

From a 2-hour stretch to 10 days, the Big Manistee offers a trip length for everyone!

We visited your place this summer (over Labor Day Weekend) and canoed down the Pine. I wanted to let you know that we had a terrific time and that we appreciated your care with us in making sure we were prepared for the trip.
